1inch Partners with Linea to Enhance Liquidity and Swap Rates
1inch has teamed up with Linea in a mutually beneficial partnership, with 1inch users gaining access to more liquidity and Linea benefiting from better swap rates on DEXes, among other things.
1inch, a decentralized exchange aggregator facilitating 100 million trades and $500 billion in volume, has announced a strategic partnership with Linea, a fast and cost-effective zkEVM layer 2 blockchain developed by ConsenSys.
This collaboration aims to provide 1inch users with access to liquidity from decentralized exchanges built on Linea, offering transaction fees that are up to 16.6 times lower and processing speeds that are 6 times faster compared to Ethereum.
On the other hand, Linea users will benefit from enhanced swap rates across various decentralized exchanges and gain access to advanced trading tools. The partnership also enables Linea users to utilize 1inch’s swap solutions, including the acclaimed Advanced Mode feature. This mode allows users to execute swaps at competitive rates without the need for native tokens for gas fees, while also safeguarding against front-running (MEV) attacks. The Advanced Mode solution was recognized as the “Most Exciting DeFi Solution” at the INATBA Awards Gala in January 2025 in Brussels.
For 1inch, the partnership with Linea is part of its strategy to collaborate with both layer 1 and layer 2 blockchains to offer faster transactions and lower fees. Previous collaborations include integrations with Polygon and Binance Smart Chain.
Linea’s partnership with 1inch aligns with its efforts to expand its DeFi offerings through strategic alliances. This includes initiatives such as integrating centralized exchange liquidity into its ecosystem through partnerships with Lumia and introducing swap solutions from PancakeSwap.
