A Prominent Analyst Predicts Bitcoin and Altcoins Are Ready for Explosive Rallies
A well-known analyst, known as TechDev, has recently shared his belief that Bitcoin (BTC) and altcoins are on the verge of triggering massive price surges, leaving hesitant investors behind.
Technical Setup Indicates Impending Bull Runs
With a substantial following of over 516,000 individuals on X, TechDev has pointed out that Bitcoin and altcoins are displaying a technical setup reminiscent of previous bull cycles in 2017 and 2021.
According to TechDev, Bitcoin is showing signs of breaking through the upper boundary of its weekly Bollinger Bands, following a recent low of $76,000 in 2025. The breach of the upper band in the Bollinger Bands, a volatility indicator, typically signals a bullish breakout.
Additionally, the altcoin market seems to be converting a former resistance level into support amidst the ongoing correction. TechDev suggests that this pattern mirrors previous cycles before significant upward movements in the altcoin market.
In TechDev’s own words:
“This has always been the setup. Every single time. BTC hits the expansion line… Volatility surges… Alts retest yellow… Top calls get loud. Then they get left behind. Market caps grow. Psychology doesn’t.”
Bullish Outlook on the Liquidity Cycle
TechDev’s optimism about Bitcoin and altcoins is supported by his positive assessment of the liquidity cycle, which tracks capital flows in and out of financial markets. He believes that the liquidity cycle is forming a macro bottom, hinting at an upcoming phase of monetary expansion.
He states:
“You continue to pin your hopes on the narrative of the month. The cycle is much bigger and does not care.”
Altcoins Expected to Outperform Bitcoin
When analyzing the altcoin market, TechDev predicts that altcoins will likely outperform Bitcoin in the upcoming market cycle based on the Bitcoin dominance (BTC.D) chart. The declining BTC.D chart suggests that altcoins are gaining value at a faster rate than Bitcoin.
