The Launch of QUEST Token on RavenQuest: Fueling a Fantasy MMORPG Economy
The highly anticipated launch of the QUEST token on the gaming-focused Ethereum layer-2 network Immutable zkEVM is set for Wednesday. This native token, developed by Tavernlight Games for their fantasy role-playing game RavenQuest, aims to revolutionize the in-game economy.
After the successful release of RavenQuest as a free-to-play MMORPG for PC on March 14, players can now look forward to earning and utilizing QUEST tokens within the game. The studio behind RavenQuest is dedicated to providing a seamless gaming experience with real utility for the token.
“QUEST is not waiting for a use case,” stated the game’s official announcement. “It plugs directly into a live game where utility isn’t a future promise, it’s reality.”

RavenQuest isn’t just a cinematic trailer or demo.
It’s a live, content-rich MMORPG built over 8+ years with a continuously growing playerbase.$QUEST isn’t the product — it’s the fuel for this living economy.

Players of RavenQuest will have the opportunity to earn QUEST tokens through in-game contributions and achievements. The token can be utilized for various purposes such as maintaining land plots, enhancing abilities, equipping gear, and participating in the marketplace.
With plans for expansions and a mobile version of the MMORPG in the pipeline, more use cases for the token are expected to emerge. Tavernlight Games’ founder and game director, Nicolas Schrik, hinted at potential token buybacks during a recent livestream, further enriching the ecosystem.
The popularity of RavenQuest has soared on streaming platform Twitch, amassing over 1.2 million hours of viewing in February, as reported by third-party analytics site TwitchTracker.
Unlike some of its counterparts in the Web3 gaming space, RavenQuest is not conducting a large-scale airdrop campaign for its QUEST token. However, participants in three playtests over the last 5 months will receive a small airdrop as a token of appreciation, according to the game’s CMO Matt Welsh.
Revised tokenomics reveal that the total token supply will amount to 1 billion, with a significant portion allocated for ecosystem rewards. The development team will receive 125 million tokens, subject to a vesting period, ensuring long-term commitment to the project.
