The company disclosed that they became aware of the security incident on August 25th and are currently conducting an investigation into the matter. They have also reassured users that while personal information was compromised, there was no theft of bitcoins held in custody or unauthorized access to user accounts on exchanges. Atlas Quantum took immediate action to secure their database, ensuring that passwords and private keys remain encrypted.
As a result of the breach, names, phone numbers, email addresses, and account balances of users were compromised.
