Space and Time was created to solve that challenge.

MakeInfinite Labs: From Creator to Contributor

The protocol’s original developer, Space and Time Labs, has rebranded to MakeInfinite Labs, and will continue contributing to the ecosystem. Under the leadership of CEO Nate Holiday, MakeInfinite Labs will remain focused on zero-knowledge research, enterprise integrations, and innovation at the application layer.

MakeInfinite Labs is responsible for several groundbreaking achievements, including:

• Inventing Proof of SQL, the world’s first sub-second ZK coprocessor for SQL queries
• Designing and launching a verifiable, high-performance database tailored for smart contracts
• Building a vibrant global network of researchers, developers, and advocates

Moving forward, the Foundation will oversee the broader development of the Space and Time protocol, while MakeInfinite Labs serves as a core contributor.

Leadership and Governance

To ensure continuity and preserve institutional knowledge, several key members from MakeInfinite Labs have transitioned into leadership roles at the Foundation:

• Scott Dykstra, co-founder of Space and Time Labs, will serve as Contributor #001, leading engineering, research, and developer engagement.
• Catherine Daly, who previously led marketing at the Labs, has been appointed Chief Marketing Officer, tasked with growing the community and expanding the ecosystem.

The Foundation is governed by an independent Board of Directors, tasked with managing strategic direction and treasury oversight. The board operates independently from MakeInfinite Labs to ensure a neutral and credible governance posture.
