Simon’s Cat (CAT) is the name of the coin that has caught the attention of traders and investors alike. Binance recently announced that CAT will be available for trading on the BNB Chain, starting Tuesday. This news has caused CAT to surge in value, with the coin currently trading at $0.00006245, up nearly 45% in the last 24 hours. With a market cap of $420.8 million, CAT is now ranked as the 244th largest crypto project.
The team behind CAT is ecstatic about the listing on Binance and has taken to social media to express their gratitude. In a post on X, they stated, “CAT is proud to be the first cat coin listed on Binance. BNB Chain is where it all started and it remains the best chain to build on, NEVER FORGET.”
But CAT is not the only coin making headlines. Binance has also announced the listing of PENGU, the utility token for the popular non-fungible token project Pudgy Penguins. PENGU will be available for trading on Tuesday after an airdrop on Monday. The Pudgy Penguins team had previously revealed their plans to launch PENGU on the Solana network, with a total supply of 88,888,888,888 tokens.
Despite the excitement surrounding PENGU, the token has not yet been launched at the time of writing. Binance is attaching a seed tag to both CAT and PENGU, indicating that these projects may exhibit higher volatility compared to other listed tokens. Users who own assets with seed tags will be required to pass quizzes every 90 days to ensure they understand the risks involved in trading these tokens.
