Ben Armstrong, aka “BitBoy,” Arrested for Harassment Charges
Ben Armstrong, the popular crypto influencer known as “BitBoy,” found himself in legal trouble once again when he was taken into custody late last month in Cherokee County, Georgia. According to public jail booking records obtained from VINE, Armstrong was charged with six counts of harassing phone calls.
The arrest took place in the early hours of June 27, with Armstrong’s mugshot being promptly released by The Georgia Gazette, a source that aggregates public arrest data in the state. Fortunately, Armstrong was able to post bail and was released on June 28. However, he may still be facing charges, as no official statement has been issued by him at this time.
Legal Troubles
Details surrounding the harassment allegations have not been disclosed to the public yet. This incident adds to a series of legal troubles that have plagued Armstrong recently, including his arrest in Volusia County, Florida, in March on a fugitive warrant for allegedly sending threatening emails to a judge. Just days before his arrest, Armstrong had made reference to the warrant on X.
Armstrong’s fall from grace in the crypto community has been marked by controversies and legal issues, with a prior arrest in 2023 further tarnishing his reputation.
