THENA (THE), a decentralized exchange and liquidity mechanism on the BNB Chain, has secured investment from Binance Labs, the venture financing and incubator arm of Binance.
Launched in January 2023, THE utilizes the innovative ve(3,3) tokenomics model, which combines decentralized governance and liquidity staking. This unique model rewards token holders for their commitment and participation in platform decisions by locking their tokens for a set period. By incentivizing users and tying them to the protocol’s success, THE fosters sustainability and long-term support.

In 2024, Binance Labs has actively supported various notable projects, including Kernel, which secured $10 million, and StakeStone, which raised $22 million. The recent investment in THENA aligns with Binance Labs’ goal to foster innovation and scalability in the blockchain ecosystem.
The current trading price of THE token is $1.68, with a market capitalization of $91.3 million and a fully diluted valuation of $394 million. The 24-hour trading volume is $120.1 million, indicating active market participation, while the Total Value Locked (TVL) stands at $54.1 million.
Despite a 59.6% decline from its all-time high of $4.03 in November 2024, THE has shown significant potential. The token has experienced a rapid recovery from its all-time low of $0.0572 in September 2023, marking a remarkable surge of over 2,748%.
