Bitcoin ETFs in the US See Inflow of $475.15 Million After Four Days of Outflows
Spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds in the United States experienced a significant inflow of $475.15 million on Dec. 26, marking the end of a four-day streak of outflows. This data comes from SoSoValue, which reported that the 12 spot Bitcoin ETFs saw a total inflow of $475.15 million on Thursday, following several days of outflows that amounted to over $1.5 billion leaving the funds.
Fidelity’s FBTC Leads Inflows
Among the Bitcoin ETFs, Fidelity’s FBTC led the pack with inflows of $254.37 million, followed by ARK 21Shares’ ARKB with $186.94 million in inflows. BlackRock’s IBIT also saw a significant inflow of $56.51 million, while Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust and VanEck’s HODL contributed with more modest inflows of $7.19 million and $2.7 million, respectively.
However, some of the inflows were offset by outflows from Grayscale’s GBTC and Bitwise’s BITB, which experienced withdrawals of $24.23 million and $8.32 million, respectively. The remaining five BTC ETFs recorded zero flows on the day.
Total Trading Volume and Bitcoin Price
The total trading volume for these Bitcoin investment products reached $2.13 billion on Dec. 26, which was close to the $2.16 billion volume seen the previous day. At the time of writing, Bitcoin (BTC) was down 2.2% over the last 24 hours, trading at $95,996 per coin.
Ether ETF Inflows Continue for Third Consecutive Day
On the same day, the nine spot Ethereum ETFs also saw positive inflows, totaling $117.09 million. This marked the third consecutive day of inflows for Ethereum ETFs, bringing the total over the three-day streak to more than $301 million.
Fidelity’s FETH attracted the majority of inflows with $82.96 million entering the fund. BlackRock’s ETHA and Grayscale Ethereum Mini Trust also contributed to the positive momentum with inflows of $28.18 million and $5.95 million, respectively. The remaining six ETH ETFs remained neutral in terms of inflows.
Overall, these Ethereum investment products have seen a cumulative total net inflow of $2.63 billion. Ethereum (ETH) was down 1.9% over the past day, trading at $3,374 at the time of writing.
