Crypto exchange Bitget has recently announced its regional partnership with MotoGP for select Grand Prix events in 2025. This collaboration will include events in Italy, Germany, Spain, and Indonesia, bringing together the worlds of high-speed racing and cryptocurrency trading.
According to a press release shared with Cryptonews, Bitget will serve as the regional partner for specific MotoGP events in Europe and Southeast Asia. The partnership aims to merge the excitement of motorcycle road racing with the dynamic world of crypto trading, offering fans a unique and innovative experience.
As part of the partnership, Bitget and MotoGP will launch various initiatives, including trackside activations, VIP experiences, and digital campaigns. At the iconic Mugello Circuit in Italy, key opinion leaders and media will have exclusive access to behind-the-scenes interactions with riders and the paddock.
Bitget CEO Gracy Chen emphasized the similarities between racing and crypto trading, stating, “Racing is a sport of milliseconds; crypto is a market of micro-decisions. This partnership demonstrates that success, whether on the track or in trading, requires smart moves and fearless execution. We are excited to join forces with MotoGP to empower users and fans alike.”
The collaboration will kick off at the Mugello Circuit, with MotoGP World Champion Jorge Lorenzo playing a central role in promoting Bitget’s “Make It Count” slogan. Lorenzo highlighted the parallels between MotoGP and crypto, noting that both reward quick thinking and precision.
Bitget, which boasts over 120 million users in 150 countries and regions, has established partnerships with other sports entities such as LALIGA, as well as individual athletes like wrestling champion Buse Tosun Çavuşoğlu and boxing gold medalist Samet Gümüş. The exchange recently received regulatory approval to operate in Georgia, expanding its reach in the digital asset market.
In addition to its MotoGP partnership, Bitget made headlines in mid-June for enabling Syrian citizens to access its platform following the lifting of sanctions by the US Department of the Treasury. However, the exchange and Bybit are reportedly adjusting their operations in Singapore in response to regulatory changes by the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
Overall, Bitget’s collaboration with MotoGP marks an exciting step towards mainstream adoption of cryptocurrency in the world of sports. By bridging the worlds of racing and trading, the partnership aims to bring together two fast-paced industries and offer fans a new way to engage with both.
