Binance Launches Second Round of “Vote to List” Campaign
Binance has just kicked off the second round of its “Vote to List” campaign, giving users another opportunity to help determine which tokens should be added to the exchange. This time around, the lineup includes altcoins such as Virtual, Grass, and Story.
The voting process began on April 2 and will continue until April 9, 2025, at 23:59 UTC. To participate, users must have a verified Binance account and hold at least 0.01 BNB in their wallet throughout the voting period.
Participants can select up to five projects to vote for, with only one vote allowed per project. To ensure that their vote is counted, users must post it under the official Binance Square post.
Unlike the first round, which primarily focused on meme coins, this round features utility tokens from sectors like AI, DePIN, and RWA (Real World Assets). The list of projects includes Virtual Protocol, Morpho, Grass, Story, Ondo, Big Time, UXLINK, Aethir, Walrus, Safe, ZetaChain, and Plume.
Some of these tokens experienced significant price movements following the announcement. For example, Big Time (BIGTIME), a Web3 multiplayer RPG, surged 70% before settling at a 30% gain. UXLINK, ZetaChain, and Plume also saw notable increases of 18%, 9%, and 8%, respectively.
While some tokens remained stable or experienced declines due to a 3% dip in the broader crypto market in response to U.S. President Donald Trump’s newly announced “Liberation Day” tariff policies.
While the “Vote to List” campaign gives the community a voice in the decision-making process, the final determination of which tokens get listed will consider several factors. These include the project’s fundamentals, user adoption, tokenomics, technical risks, team credibility, and compliance standards.
Last month, Binance introduced the “Vote to Delist” feature, allowing the community to vote on removing tokens from its monitoring list. This move coincided with the delisting of five cryptocurrencies, including AERGO, AST, BURGER, COMBO, and LINA.
Stay tuned for the results of the “Vote to List” campaign and the potential addition of new tokens to the Binance exchange.
