Chainlink Data Streams Now Live on Scroll Mainnet
Chainlink, a decentralized oracle platform, has officially integrated its standard for verifiable data on Scroll, a zero-knowledge-proof-powered scaling solution on Ethereum.
The announcement of the integration was made on Jan. 29, with Chainlink Data Streams now live on Scroll (SCR) mainnet. This integration allows developers on the zkEVM platform to access Chainlink’s low-latency market data, providing them with a powerful tool to build next-generation decentralized finance applications.
By leveraging Chainlink Data Streams, developers on Scroll can benefit from faster transaction settlement, lower fees, and advanced blockchain functionality. This combination of low latency and automated execution opens up new possibilities for DeFi innovation.
“Chainlink Data Streams enable Scroll developers to build high-performance dApps underpinned by Chainlink’s decentralized, credibly neutral infrastructure. This provides developers with the tools to unlock new possibilities in DeFi innovation, as we continue to build the Open Economy,” said Raza Zaidi, head of growth at Scroll.
Scroll became a part of the Chainlink Scale program in August 2023, collaborating with Chainlink to accelerate ecosystem growth. This partnership has provided Scroll’s ecosystem of developers with access to expert technical support and services on the leading oracle network.
Utilizing Chainlink’s DeFi oracle infrastructure not only offers faster transaction settlement and enhanced security but also enables developers to create DeFi apps with a user experience comparable to traditional finance platforms and centralized exchanges.
Having launched its mainnet in October 2023 after two years of development, Scroll has been actively partnering with industry players like Ether.fi, Alchemy Pay, and Nansen to drive growth and innovation in the blockchain space.
