The university recently hosted the first-ever AI Summit in Uttar Pradesh, titled ‘AI Higher Education Summit 2025,’ in alignment with the government’s IndiaAI Mission.
The Summit, themed ‘From Classroom to Cloud: Pioneering the AI Future,’ brought together a diverse group of stakeholders, including policymakers, global AI experts, academic and industry leaders, AI innovators, educators, and students. Key dignitaries at the Summit included Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and Chandigarh University Chancellor Satnam Singh Sandhu, Vivek Agrawal, Managing Director of Accenture India Pvt Ltd, MP Agrawal, GC Tripathi, Chairman of the Higher Education Council in Uttar Pradesh, and Chandigarh University Managing Director Jai Inder Singh Sandhu.
