Major Crypto and Blockchain Companies Collaborate to Provide Open AI Services
Several leading crypto and blockchain companies have come together to form the Open Agents Alliance (OAA), with the goal of offering open artificial intelligence (AI) services through a unified infrastructure. Members of the alliance include NEAR AI, the AI and payments divisions of popular crypto exchange Coinbase, as well as various other blockchain and AI projects.
The primary objective of the OAA is to deliver secure, cost-effective, and fair access to AI through open-source platforms. By providing a unified infrastructure that includes AI agent frameworks, cloud hosting, and seamless integration with both fiat and crypto on/off-ramps, developers will have the resources they need to create and deploy AI tools.
The collaboration between crypto and blockchain entities reflects a shared interest in leveraging AI technology, which has seen significant growth and adoption in recent years. By decentralizing AI services, these projects aim to promote transparency and fairness in the development and deployment of AI solutions.
