ePropelled, a leading provider of advanced propulsion technology, recently hosted a special event at its Laconia-based manufacturing facility, where political leaders, global diplomats, and other influential guests were given an exclusive look at the company’s new production line.
Among the attendees were representatives from New Hampshire Governor Kelly Ayotte, Senator’s Jeanne Shaheen and Maggie Hassan, Congressman Chris Pappas, Congresswoman Maggie Goodlander’s offices, and David Clay, the British Consul General to New England.
ePropelled specializes in designing and delivering state-of-the-art motors, generators, and power management systems for a wide range of uncrewed vehicles. The event showcased the expansion of ePropelled’s manufacturing operations, with the company’s current 12,000-square-foot facility set to double in size to 24,000 square feet.
The expansion comes at a crucial time, following President Trump’s executive order prioritizing U.S.-made drone components and expediting FAA approvals to reduce reliance on Chinese suppliers. ePropelled is expected to produce over 25,000 motors this year, with plans to scale up to 300,000 units within the next year.
CEO Nick Grewal highlighted ePropelled’s commitment to job growth, projecting the creation of 350 new positions. He emphasized the company’s role in advancing America’s drone capabilities, with a significant shift in revenue from international to domestic markets.
Attendees had the opportunity to tour the facility and witness the production line in action, where propulsion systems were being manufactured. ePropelled’s expansion aligns with the projected growth of the global unmanned vehicle propulsion systems market, estimated to exceed $100 billion by 2030.
Looking ahead, Grewal anticipates the need for further expansion of the Laconia facility by 2026 and aims to produce over one million motors annually by 2027. ePropelled’s strategic positioning in the industry signals its readiness to play a pivotal role in the evolving landscape of unmanned vehicle technology.
