The creators behind the popular Telegram game Farm Frens and the upcoming strategy game Everseed have announced an important snapshot date to determine eligibility for an upcoming airdrop. This snapshot is in preparation for the token launch on the Ethereum layer-2 network Base, scheduled for sometime in January.
Farm Frens has garnered attention as a wholesome game that follows in the footsteps of previous Telegram games like Notcoin and Hamster Kombat. It offers players a FarmVille-style experience where they can earn and spend in-game currency to expand and enhance their farms. Players who participate in Farm Frens have the opportunity to build up a substantial share of the future token airdrop on Base.
The developers have confirmed that airdrop allocations will be influenced by the historical accumulation of NUTS, DIRT, and DUNG in-game currency by players. To maximize their rewards, players must ensure they have accumulated these resources by January 20 at 3 am UTC, which is the snapshot deadline. A snapshot in this context refers to the recording of specific data or held assets at a predetermined time.
Additionally, players who hold NFTs related to Everseed, such as the Everseed Ranger, Sprout, or Diddit NFTs, will also be considered in the snapshot. Both Farm Frens and Everseed are set in the same universe, and the developers have hinted at future connections between the two games following the token launch and airdrop.
While the announcement does not specify if this snapshot is the final one before the token launch and airdrop, the developers have mentioned that more details will be revealed soon. For further clarification, the Farm Frens developers have not yet responded to Decrypt’s request.
Stay tuned for more updates as the snapshot date approaches, and mark your calendars for this exciting event in the world of Farm Frens and Everseed.
