Bitcoin-focused company Top Win International has undergone a significant transformation, rebranding itself as a Bitcoin Treasury company and changing its Nasdaq ticker symbol to SORA. This move, as outlined in a recent regulatory filing on May 27, marks a strategic shift for the firm towards Bitcoin accumulation and infrastructure development in Asia.
In line with its new direction, Top Win has appointed Jason Fang, co-founder of Sora Ventures, as the chairman of its board of directors. Fang’s extensive experience, particularly in leading Metaplanet’s pioneering efforts in corporate Bitcoin adoption in Asia, positions him well to steer Top Win towards its new objectives.
The market has responded positively to Top Win’s repositioning, with the company’s share price surging over 30% to $13.83 in early Monday trading. This upward trend follows a substantial increase of over 200% since early April, indicating growing investor confidence in the company’s new strategic direction.
Originally a luxury watch distributor based in Hong Kong, Top Win’s merger with Sora Ventures has propelled its evolution into a full-fledged Bitcoin Treasury firm. The company is now poised to rebrand as AsiaStrategy, pending regulatory approval, reflecting its ambition to emulate the success of MicroStrategy in leveraging Bitcoin as a key treasury asset.
In a recent social media update, Fang affirmed SORA’s vision to become the “MicroStrategy of Asia,” highlighting the company’s focus on accumulating Bitcoin reserves and supporting affiliated businesses across the region. This aligns with a broader trend of institutional interest in Bitcoin as a reserve asset, with corporate holders collectively owning over 804,000 BTC as of May 2025.
With Fang at the helm and a renewed strategic focus, SORA is well positioned to capitalize on the rising wave of Bitcoin adoption in Asia. According to Fang, Bitcoin treasury firms like SORA will play a pivotal role in propelling the asset to new all-time highs, signaling a promising future for the company in the evolving landscape of digital assets.
It is worth noting that Sora Ventures is an investor in CryptoSlate, underscoring the interconnected nature of the cryptocurrency ecosystem and the collaborative efforts driving innovation and growth in the industry.
