Theta Network Teams Up with FlyQuest to Launch AI Esports Chatbot
Theta Network, a decentralized cloud for artificial intelligence and blockchain, has joined forces with FlyQuest to introduce a personalized AI esports chatbot to enhance fan engagement.
FlyQuest, a prominent esports organization and a leading League of Legends team in North America, will utilize Theta EdgeCloud to power its AI chatbot named a.PHiD, as announced by Theta Network (THETA).
The chatbot, which will be accessible on the FlyQuest website and through Discord integration, will provide responses to fan queries regarding rosters, upcoming matches, and match results.
FlyQuest’s CEO, Brian Anderson, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating that the launch of a.PHiD will transform the fan experience for the esports team. This initiative aims to enhance fan engagement through personalized interactions and broader involvement.
Theta Network’s EdgeCloud Update
In conjunction with the collaboration with FlyQuest, Theta Labs has introduced an update to its EdgeCloud platform, a hybrid computing solution for AI, video, and rendering applications. EdgeCloud utilizes high-performance cloud-based GPUs, including the latest GPUs from Nvidia, and has partnered with industry giants like Google Cloud.
The latest update to EdgeCloud includes support for AI mobile browsers and video dashboard, as well as optimization for both iOS and Android. Developers can now access features such as model training, agentic AI, analytics, and payments through EdgeCloud.
Theta Labs first unveiled EdgeCloud in May 2024 and has experienced significant adoption in recent months. The platform has gained traction in academia and enterprise ecosystems, with partnerships established with institutions like Seoul National University, University of Oregon, and Ajou University for AI research leveraging the hybrid cloud GPU infrastructure.
Theta EdgeCloud also supports Theta Fuel (TFUEL), fiat, and USDC payments.
