A popular crypto trader, known as Altcoin Sherpa, is considering increasing his holdings in a Solana (SOL)-based memecoin called Fartcoin (FARTCOIN) amidst the current market correction. Created by an anonymous developer based on the “ideal memecoin” concept proposed by the AI large language model Truth Terminal, Fartcoin has caught the attention of Altcoin Sherpa as a potential investment opportunity.
Altcoin Sherpa revealed to his 236,000 followers on X that he plans to accumulate Fartcoin even if its price drops to $0.65. Currently trading at $0.86, the memecoin is still within the trader’s target accumulation range. Altcoin Sherpa shared his strategy, indicating that he is gradually buying Fartcoin at different price levels to achieve an average price of $0.80 or lower.
Expressing some caution about the trade, Altcoin Sherpa admitted that the potential success of Fartcoin seems almost too obvious, but he remains optimistic about its meme potential and underlying narratives. Alongside Fartcoin, Altcoin Sherpa also mentioned two other altcoins that have caught his attention for potential rallies – Hyperliquid (HYPE), a decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol, and ai16z (AI16Z), an AI agent-staffed venture capital fund.
Despite the current market pullback, Altcoin Sherpa believes that bullish conditions will eventually return to benefit traders who may currently be facing losses. He reassured followers that patience is key, stating, “If you’re underwater, all you have to do is wait a few more weeks and you’ll be saved by the market.”
