A Prominent Analyst Predicts Bullish Trends for Altcoins
A well-known cryptocurrency analyst and trader, going by the pseudonym Bluntz, has recently shifted his stance towards altcoins, signaling a bullish outlook for these digital assets. With a substantial following of 322,200 individuals on the social media platform X, Bluntz has highlighted key indicators that point towards a potential surge in altcoin performance.
One of the key metrics that Bluntz is closely monitoring is the Bitcoin dominance (BTC.D) chart, which currently shows a bearish divergence. This divergence suggests that altcoins may outperform Bitcoin in the near future, as they are poised to gain more traction within the market.
Bitcoin dominance, which currently stands at 65.34%, indicates the percentage of the total cryptocurrency market cap that belongs to Bitcoin. A bearish BTC.D chart signifies that altcoins are experiencing faster growth rates compared to Bitcoin.
Bluntz goes on to predict that the Solana-based memecoin Bonk (BONK) could potentially double in price after breaking out of a descending trendline on the five-day chart. Expressing confidence in this forecast, he states, “Really not too sure about ATHs, but pretty confident BONK is going at least 100-130% higher.”
Furthermore, Bluntz observes a trend where other altcoins similar to BONK are also entering uptrends, signaling a broader movement within the market. He emphasizes the significance of being invested in the entire BONK ecosystem to maximize potential returns.
On the topic of specific altcoins, Bluntz mentions Useless Coin (USELESS), another Solana-based memecoin, which he believes has the potential to reach around $0.50 as it continues on a strong uptrend. He notes, “USELESS dips still getting bought up every day constantly despite already being up big. $500 million market cap looks within reach.”
Currently, USELESS is trading at $0.248, experiencing a 7.6% decrease in the last 24 hours. With a market cap of $247.5 million, USELESS holds the 256th position among all cryptocurrency projects.
