Uniswap Foundation’s Financial Overview for 2024
Uniswap Foundation’s financial report for 2024 reveals a total expenditure of $5.79 million on various operational aspects, alongside revenue of $1.11 million generated from donations, dividends, and interest.
The breakdown of expenses indicates that the majority of the budget, amounting to $3.13 million, was allocated towards payroll expenses, covering salaries, benefits, and taxes. Additionally, $1.68 million was spent on professional services such as legal advice, accounting, and technical audits.

Moreover, the report highlights that advertising and marketing expenses amounted to approximately $290,000, which was utilized for activities such as web design, agency work, and event hosting.

Additionally, the Foundation incurred expenses of around $174,000 on external events, including travel and conference participation. Office-related costs, such as software, transaction fees, and internal team events, totaled approximately $116,000. Insurance expenses, primarily for directors and officers coverage, amounted to $290,000, with smaller expenditures of nearly $116,000 allocated for hackathons.

As of the year-end, the Foundation maintained a substantial reserve of $29.8 million in fiat and stablecoins, along with 0.59 million UNI tokens. These assets are earmarked to support ongoing operations, grant disbursements, and team incentives throughout 2025.
Regarding grants, the Foundation allocated $14.8 million in 2024, with $9.9 million disbursed, including $3.1 million in the final quarter. A significant portion of these funds, amounting to $4.59 million, was dedicated to developer support programs, facilitating the onboarding of over 1,000 new Uniswap developers through initiatives like Uniday and global hackathons.
Furthermore, substantial sums were allocated towards research grants ($2.19 million) and governance activities ($1.54 million) as outlined in the financial report.
