Lagrange (LA) Coin Faces Price Crash Following Binance Support
In a surprising turn of events, the zero-knowledge (ZK) proof computer processing altcoin, Lagrange (LA), has experienced a significant dip in price after receiving support from Binance, the world’s largest crypto exchange platform by trading volume.
The announcement of Binance adding support for Lagrange was met with excitement, as the digital asset was set to be integrated into various Binance services, including Binance Simple Earn, ‘Buy Crypto,’ Binance Convert, and Binance Margin. However, instead of seeing a surge in price as anticipated, Lagrange witnessed a steep decline in value.
Just days ago, Lagrange was trading at a seven-day high of $0.676, but has since plummeted to $0.416 at the time of writing, marking a 32% decrease within a 24-hour period. This sudden drop comes as a stark contrast to the coin’s previous price movement when it gained support from Coinbase, resulting in a remarkable 216% increase in value.
The Lagrange project is built on two key protocols – the ZK Prove Network and the ZK coprocessor. The ZK Prove Network offers universal proving services for rollups, apps, coprocessors, and interoperability, while the ZK coprocessor enables smart contracts to execute intensive off-chain computations that can be verified on-chain.
According to the Lagrange development team, the Lagrange Coprocessor is a valuable tool for handling blockchain data, especially when ensuring the accuracy of data queries. This innovative approach to processing and verifying data sets Lagrange apart in the competitive cryptocurrency market.
As the market continues to fluctuate, it remains to be seen how Lagrange will recover from this recent price crash. Despite the setback, the project’s unique technology and potential for growth may provide a solid foundation for future success.
