Bitcoin’s Dominance Rate Drops, Alt Season May Be Imminent

“Even if BTC experiences a decline in the coming weeks, most altcoins have already reached their bottom and are unlikely to fall below recent price levels. A portion of Bitcoin’s $2 trillion market cap is likely to flow into altcoins,” Wedson explained.

While some indicators point to the onset of an alt season, others suggest that the broader crypto market has yet to fully embrace alternative assets. CoinMarketCap’s altcoin index, which focuses on the top 100 coins, remains stagnant at 27, indicating that Bitcoin still dominates the market.
