Bitget Wallet, a prominent non-custodial crypto wallet, has recently announced a significant integration with Base, the Ethereum Layer 2 network incubated by Coinbase. This collaboration will see Bitget Wallet natively integrate Aerodrome, a flagship decentralized exchange (DEX) on Base, providing users with access to a wide range of Base-native assets and liquidity directly within the app.
Aerodrome serves as a vital liquidity hub for Base assets such as cbETH and cbBTC. Through this integration, Bitget Wallet users will have the opportunity to engage in token swaps, participate in liquidity pools, and earn rewards seamlessly without having to leave the wallet interface. This move is aimed at reducing barriers to entry for on-chain financial services and simplifying the DeFi experience for mainstream users.
The integration with Aerodrome is part of Bitget Wallet’s strategy to make DeFi more accessible and intuitive for users. The update includes support for Base-native assets, staking opportunities with cbETH and cbBTC, and features like GetGas to cover transaction fees for users who do not hold ETH. By streamlining the onboarding process and offering built-in tools, Bitget Wallet aims to make the on-chain experience simple, rewarding, and widely available to users.
To further support user education and exploration of the Base ecosystem, Bitget Wallet will be introducing a dedicated Base zone in its Discover tab. This section will showcase top Base DApps across DeFi, gaming, and infrastructure, along with step-by-step guides for new users. Real-time token feeds, pricing data, and one-tap trading will also be integrated to enhance user experience and encourage interaction with Base projects.
In addition to the Aerodrome integration, Bitget Wallet recently launched a fiat withdrawal feature in collaboration with MoonPay. This feature enables users to sell stablecoins like USDT and USDC for over 25 fiat currencies directly within the wallet. Users can access this feature through the “Sell Crypto” page in Bitget Wallet, select their desired token and fiat currency, and complete the transaction using MoonPay.
Overall, the integration with Aerodrome, the introduction of educational tools in the Base ecosystem zone, and the partnership with MoonPay for fiat withdrawals demonstrate Bitget Wallet’s commitment to simplifying DeFi and expanding access to on-chain opportunities for users worldwide.
