A New NFT Marketplace on Solana Sees Red Despite Binance Support
A non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace built over the smart contract platform Solana (SOL) is seeing a downturn after receiving support from the world’s largest crypto exchange by volume.
Binance Adds Doodles (DOOD) to Binance Alpha
In a recent announcement, Binance has revealed that it is adding the NFT ecosystem Doodles (DOOD) to Binance Alpha, a platform within the Binance wallet that showcases early-stage digital assets and offers futures contracts for them.
“Binance is excited to announce that Doodles (DOOD) will open for trading on Binance Alpha at 2025-05-09 13:00 (UTC). In addition, Binance Futures will launch DOODUSDT Perpetual Contract with up to 50x leverage at 2025-05-09 13:30 (UTC).”
DOOD Price Takes a Hit
Despite the announcement, the price of DOOD experienced a significant drop, going from $0.00807 to $0.00686 within a 24-hour period, marking a 12.8% decrease.
Doodles: A Unique NFT Collection
Doodles is a collection of 10,000 unique NFTs created by the pseudonymous Canadian artist Burnt Toast in 2021. The project has expanded into live storytelling and gaming, offering users a unique experience within the Stoodio.

Celebrity Collaborations and Expansion
Last year, Doodles collaborated with artists like Lil Wayne, Lil Yachty, and Pharrell Williams to release a music video in the art style of the brand, showcasing its versatility and creativity.
