Yield Guild Games (YGG), a prominent blockchain gaming community, recently completed a $1 million buyback of YGG tokens. This strategic move has garnered attention within the gaming and cryptocurrency sectors.
Developers Utilize Game Revenue for Token Buyback
Insights from onchain analyst Ember reveal that the company withdrew 5.87 million YGG tokens from exchanges, following a transfer of 1 million USDT to Binance. The buyback was executed at an average price of $0.17, indicating a proactive approach by developers.
